Drapolene antiseptic cream is specially formulated to give relief from nappy rash. It also helps prevent nappy rash without blocking the action of one-way nappy liners.

Drapolene cream contains two active ingredients, benzalkonium chloride and cetrimide. Both of these have antiseptic and disinfectant actions.

Drapolene cream also contains a mixture of white soft paraffin, wool fat and cetyl alcohol that produces a greasy moisturiser. It works by providing a layer of oil on the surface of the skin to prevent water evaporating from the skin surface.

This combination of ingredients results in a protective cream which cools and soothes any soreness and prevents infection. It is suitable for the treatment of urinary rash, nappy rash in children and for treating minor wounds.
